~ Bug Light Goes Boom ~
Practically running all the way from Willard Beach, with camera bag on my back and my wife and a friend trying to keep up, I had a certain composition in mind for the Portland fireworks which would include Bug Light in South Portland. I arrived sweating and anxious, knowing I had little time before the show started and thinking that there would be a dozen photographers alllined up along the rocks. To my surprise, there was only one. Not to my surprise, it was photographer extraordinaire and good friend Ben from Benjamin M. Williamson Photography, and I was happy to include him doing his thing in this shot. We have a habit of meeting up for unplanned photo shoots together, which is always a treat.
