Hi, my name is Steve Beckwith and thanks for visiting my site. Scenes of Maine is a collection of photographs I have taken from some of my favorite places throughout the beautiful state I live in.
Dawn and dusk are my two favorite times of the day, and most of my photographs are taken during those hours. I love to watch the transition of light between day and night, and seeing what Mother Nature does in that fleeting moment. Colors can turn magical, shadows may seem mystical, but the scene always has a story to be told. My intent is to bring this story to you in a photograph that hopefully conveys a sense of beauty and the mood and emotion that Mother Nature displayed that day.

I use professional services to process, print, and deliver all orders from this site, my specialty remains behind the camera. I can however tell you I am very pleased with the quality of the work, the images look amazing, the matted and framed hangings are gallery worthy, and the packaging it is shipped in is incredible protective.
