Aurora over Bell Farm

I had spent the last four hrs running a timelapse of the early winter skies making their way across the sky. Pleiades, Taurus, Orion, Gemini, Sirius and Jupiter make for great star trails and I was doing this over a buddies farm in Waterford. The entire time looking mostly east and south, I kept spying the north view...hoping. None of the apps were calling for anything much. But you never know.
Then I did.
It was actually out of the corner of my eye that I saw naked-eye dim, white columns growing in the sky. That's what the human eyeball sees. Dim, white columns.
My camera and your cell phone sees this. :)
Single exposure taken at 5:20am, 30sec, f/5.6, ISO3200 and capturing our Milky Way, Aurora, Andromeda, an iridium flare (reflection off an old iridium satellite) and a working western Maine farm.
