Star trails over Hemlock Bridge in Fryeburg. Things to do in total darkness while your camera is taking 147 one minute exposures: - Walk around with a headlamp drinking coffee, brighten up some trees, make wiggle light lines along the road. - Put solar camp lanterns inside the dark scary covered bridge making it, somehow.....scarier! I had visions of a headless horseman sitting on top of his zombie horse in that lantern light. - Enjoy all the deafening sounds! Frogs of all types, owls and geese and an angry beaver, the swish of his tail through the air a split second before slapping the water. - And of course enjoying the sky sights! Watching the red super giants Betelgeuse in Orion and Aldebaren in Taurus setting as the earth was spinning was the best part of all!
