Milky Way 2016

Let the Milky Way season begin! I took this Feb 6th, Saturday morning at 5:25am. It was exciting watching the rise of Scorpius, Antares, and the center of the Milky Way, though PHL is certainly not the darkest skies in the world. Also captured is Saturn, which is to the left of Antares, and Venus which is to the right of the bright crescent moon rising above the red dawn light on the horizon. The sweeping light was not on/working....just a pulsing back-up light in the tower. A very peaceful, mindful, and thankful start of a new day.
